I was told 45 minutes. 3 hours later still no show. Lost my job. Thanx triple idiots!
If I could rate 0 stars I would. I ran out of gas and had to sit on the side of the road in 20 degree weather for over 3 hours. I was given 3 different excuses and the only communication I got from them was when I called them.
I have wasted hours upon hours because they couldn't seem to tell me when tow drivers would arrive. They don't care and act like its your fault. I'm not sure there is another organization that can do what they do, but I'm going to look. Dealing with Akron AAA is like dealing with a cable company
An update to this: upon returning to our homestate, we visited our own branch. They looked us right up using my drivers license. We were given temporary cards and we were NOT expired. I would ASSUME their system is connected to a network. Nothing bit friendly at this one.
I'm giving a 1 star only because you are required to. My husband and I traveled to Ohio from Oregon to visit family, and were proceeding on to Maine . We traveled a half hour out of the way and arrived 5 minutes after they opened. I thought I'd brought my AAA card with me but had changed purses for traveling. A middle aged woman turned to us and acted annoyed that we were there. When i told her i didn't have my card, and could she possibly look me up, she gave me a loud sigh and began lecturing me on how I should ALWAYS have my card on me and what if I were to break down. I might add all we were requesting was a map! I'm 54 years old and don't need a lecture on what i need with me. She was rude, and obviously needs to seek other employment. I asked if we might purchase one and was given a loud "NO". She said "sorry I can't help you" so off we went. This is in FAR contrast to our local AAA where we live. Don't bother with this office, if you want any kind of service at all. And btw, i worked retail and put up with all kinds of people, and did it with a smile. We were polite to het until pushed. In NO way way were we anything but pleasant to her until her last comment saying she was "sorry", when my husband said "no your not" as we parted.
always been very helpful to me
They are completely unreliable. Time estimates are worthless, drivers arrive without things they are supposed to have and don't know how to operate the equipment they do have.
